Tell us about yourself.
I am 11 years old. My fully name is Lilliana Belle Ketchman, but most people know me as "Lilly K." I have been dancing since I was 2 years old, and in the last few years starting acting and modeling as well. My parents are Chris and Stacey and I have an older, 14 year old brother. We also have 2 dogs...one is mine (Toby!), 2 tortoises, and a parakeet so my house is very busy! I was cast on Dance Moms when I was 7 years old after Abby Lee Miller found me on Instagram. I didn't audition for the team, so this was very exciting!
When did you know you loved dance?
I learned that I love to dance right away. My first dance class was at just two years old. I was having lots of fun, but I really fell in love with dance when I started competing at the age of 5. I just loved the feeling of performing and being on stage.
What’s the most exciting part about being on “Dance Moms”? The most exciting part of being on Dance Moms is the thrill of learning a dance in an hour or two, and having to compete a day or two later. It's stressful, but it's an adrenaline rush. In the real world, competitive dancers usually learn their competition dances and compete them for a full year. So learning a dance and competing within a day or two is very difficult, but also rewarding and exciting. The next week, we are on to completely new routines!
Who do you look up to?
I really look up to Dusty Button. She is a dancer that I aspire to be like. Her technique is like no other, but when you meet her, you learn that she is a super humble, genuine, and honestly really "cool" person. She is the total package and a great role model for young dancers like myself.
What is your least favorite part about being on the show? My least favorite part of working with Dance Moms is of course the DRAMA! It's a reality show, so there will always be drama. It takes some strength to learn how to avoid letting it get to you. it's definitely a skill we all continue to work on.
What’s your favorite music to dance to?
Oh my Gosh...I love dancing to ANY Billie Eilish song. I'm not going to lie. I am obsessed with her and her music. I improv to her music any time I can. My current favorite to dance to is 6 Feet Under.
What’s your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would be in Bora Bora, but I don't think that's happening any time soon! lol! In general, I love any vacation that involves beaches, pools, and boating! I love tubing and spending time on the water.
