Tell us about yourself.
My full name is Lenay Chantelle Olsen! I’m from Minnesota and I love music and just learned the word acquiescence. It’s my new fav word now, it’s the opposite of resistance!
When did your passion for music first begin?
My dad had a John Elefante album when I was little and he asked me and my sister to each pick out a favorite song on it, we did, and then we would all listen to them on repeat whenever we got in the car. I still listen to my favorite songs on repeat lol
How would you describe your sound?
Dark Pop with acoustic guitars and Latin beats whenever I can sneak them in and the Dm chord!
Are there any artists that would be a dream to collaborate with?
I have a long list on my phone! Julia Michaels, Alec Benjamin, Benny Blanco, just to name a few.
Are there any specific artist who inspire you or influence you?
My singing style is very influenced by Lights! My lyrics are inspired by anyone and anything that comes into my life that provokes any strong feelings good or bad haha
What was the first concert you attended?
Go Fish! A Christian acoustic band. They played a concert at my church when I was in 8th grade and I bought their CD after I loved them! haha
What’s your favorite song at the moment? Somebody You Loved by Lewis Capaldi, and every single song on Taylor Swift’s new album. I want to learn the first one on the guitar but I need to cut my long acrylic nails first.
